We will also stop at one of Espoo’s recreational islands to enjoy snacks and coffee.

Environmental Responsibility

We operate our tours as sustainably as possible and with a minimal carbon footprint, so our guests can enjoy the experience with peace of mind. The hull of our RIB boat is designed to glide efficiently across the water, helping to reduce fuel consumption. We also take other environmental considerations into account in all our operations.

About the Boat

A Ring Powercraft boat (RIB) combines a rigid, durable hull with inflatable tubes. This type of construction provides excellent stability and seaworthiness. RIB boats are widely used by maritime rescue organisations around the world because of their safety and reliability. Greenpeace also uses RIB boats in its operations.

Our RIB boat, Grey Hawk, is CE-certified in Category B, meaning it is approved for operation in Baltic Sea conditions. The boat is 9.5 metres long and 3.2 metres wide, with capacity for a total of 12 people. This allows us to take up to 11 guests on each tour.

The boat’s inflatable tubes are made of Hypalon and divided into seven separate compartments. It is powered by a 300 hp Suzuki DF300 outboard engine with a V6 configuration and a displacement of approximately four litres.
